The Board of Directors of the Eswatini Communications Commission is the governing body responsible for carrying out the objects of, and exercising powers and functions conferred on the Commission. The Board is appointed by the Minister in terms of section 6 of The Public Enterprises (Control and Monitoring) Act 1989.
The functions of the Board are to review activities of the Commission in order to ensure that the Commission delivers on its mandate, acts in the interest of Eswatini and the end-users of communication services, and to monitor or oversee the general administration of the Commission. The Board is also empowered to make recommendations to the Minister regarding communications policies or on matters affecting the operations of the Commission.
